Island Peak is also known as Imja Tse (6,160 m). It is one of the top trekking destinations of Nepal. Island Peak Climbing is an ideal package for a novice to begin trekking. The trail will take you into the Himalayan paradise where you will trek with the stunning views of world’s highest mountains like Mt. Everest (8,848 m), Mt. Nuptse (7,861 m), Mt. Kanchenjunga (8,586 m), Mt. Makalu (8,156 m), and Mt. Annapurna (8,091 m).

No doubt, the trek will allow you to experience the spectacular views of sceneries and Himalayan mountains. The trail is not highly technical, and also the best option to prepare yourself for the summit climbing.

You will begin this adventurous journey by taking a thrilling flight to the world’s second dangerous airport, Lukla Airport. From here, the trek begins that will take you to Namche Bazaar passing through Phakding. Namche Bazaar is the main village of the Himalayas and also the entrance of Khumbu Region.

After resting a day here, the trail will take you to your next destination, Dingboche where you will take another rest day to get acclimatized with the increasing altitude.

Further, the trek will lead you to Gorak Shep by crossing Lobuche. To reach Gorak Shep, you will have to do lots of ascends and descends, and pass through many picturesque villages, rivers, streams, and dense forests. From Gorak Shep, the next stop is the dream destination of hundreds and thousands of travelers, Everest Base Camp (5,380 m).

The trail to EBC will be a little difficult and includes a glacial walk. After spending some time on the Everest Base Camp (5,380 m), you will return back to the Gorak Shep. Next day, you will climb to another famous viewpoint, Kala Patthar (5,643 m), which will present you with the 360-degree panoramic view of Mt. Everest (8,848 m) and other surrounding mountains.

You will trek back to Lobuche, and further cross the thrilling Kongma La Pass to reach Chukung the last settlement area of the trek. The trek will get more interesting as you have reached Island Base Camp, and you will stay in the tea house.

The day when you will finally ascend towards the summit of Island Peak. Upon reaching the summit, you will be rewarded with the breath-taking views of sceneries and found yourself in one of the scenes of fairy tales.

You will then trek back to Lukla via Thyangboche and Monjo, and your trip ends here with the memories that will stay with you for your lifetime.
